It has been a tradition for several years: Bee Week!

A week we at the farm bee have been looking forward to for months. During this week, extra attention is paid to bees in Flanders. Fun bee activities are organized in many places.

At the farm bee this year, we are throwing a big bee party June 1 -2 !

What is there to stay that day ?

We provide several activities where you can discover the world of the bee in a fun and kid-friendly way!

Thus, we provide several moments where you can get explanations about the bees from the real beekeeper! He will tell you more about the life of the bee and answer all your questions!

If you'd like to go a step further, sign up and join the beekeeper in the bee hall and take a look inside a hive.
Please note: registration is required for this activity. Places for this are limited!

Taking a break or enjoying (hopefully) the sunshine? Our summer bar 'T Bieke will provide you with a refreshing drink on a cozy terrace with bouncy castle. Of course our honey beer 't bie bierke will also be available!

Our wildflower field is in full bloom and though we say so ourselves is beautiful! Therefore, if the weather we provide a free photo shoot with professional photographer!

Bees are our hobby and our passion. Gladly we share them with you. That is why most of our activities are free or require a small fee to cover expenses.

For the activities: "Get into the skin of the beekeeper" and "Free photo shoot among the wild flowers." we do ask for practical reasons to register in advance.

Where does the bee festival take place?

Bokkenrode 65, Lakewood

The bee festival will take place at our bee hall. This is located at Bokkenrode 65 in Meerhout.

Parking is provided for those coming by car. Please note parking is not allowed along the road!

To the extent possible, we encourage as many people as possible to come by bike or on foot!
